“I’m ovulating” is announced at a happy hour drinks between two friends. The sudden remark sends our narrator down a spiral of questioning the experience of cheersing drinks in the first place. What should we cheers for? Who do we cheers to? Where does one look when cheersing? Ultimately, should I just be drinking alone?
